Choose your identity.
Every player selects a codename. Keep using that codename and your service record can continue growing across future deployments.
THE ARMORY // 9,200 SQ FT OF ACTION SPACE
Missouri's Largest Laser Tag Armory surrounds you with six custom-built structures, balconies, tunnels, a bridge, concealed routes and dozens of tactical positions—so every player can find a different advantage and every mission can play differently.
THE BATTLEFIELD
AREA 54 is not a flat room filled with glowing walls. The battlefield was built to create choices. Six structures, upper balconies, tunnels, corners, openings, a bridge and hidden sight lines give every player a reason to move, defend, flank, rush or disappear.
A player who controls elevation may see a route someone on the floor cannot. A player tucked into a tunnel can disappear from one angle while becoming vulnerable from another. The arena rewards awareness as much as accuracy.
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
Every player selects a codename. Keep using that codename and your service record can continue growing across future deployments.
AREA 54 has a growing wall of tagger options, including alternate AK and AR sniper configurations, with different fire rates, damage output, reload behavior and breakage timing. There is no single “best” tagger—the right one depends on how you want to play.
You are not removed from the game because someone tags you. Your Health Points are reduced based on the weapon and game rules. Find a health station to recover and keep fighting.
If your health reaches zero, your equipment flashes white to show you were eliminated. About 10 seconds later, you're back in the mission and free to change your approach.
After the 15-minute mission, return to the lounge and review the gameplay data connected to your codename before the next deployment.
Use the break between missions to refresh, swap taggers or try a different tactical role. The next game does not have to feel like the last one.
THE EQUIPMENT
AREA 54's cordless tactical system turns the arena into a configurable live-action game engine. The tagger you choose changes the pace, damage, recovery time and ammunition pressure of the mission.
Do you rush, spray and keep moving? Do you want one heavy shot from across the arena? Or do you want something balanced enough to change tactics mid-game? Choose the class that sounds like you.
Choose a playstyle and AREA 54 will highlight matching taggers without hiding the rest of the wall.
A staff member and their personal tagger choice can eventually be selected in Command Center.

Wearable body sensors connect each Operator to health, damage, team colors, eliminations and mission rules.

Lightweight head-mounted sensors add another hit-detection point and keep movement, angles and cover important.

Configurable battlefield stations can become health, ammunition, energy or other interactive mission support systems.
GAME SELECTION
No permanent teammates required. Your choices, your score, your survival.

Enter unarmed. Find your equipment. Stay alive.
Players enter the arena unarmed and search for hidden taggers. When eliminated, they disable and hide that tagger before respawning and searching for another.

No teammates. Everyone is a target.
Every player is a potential target. There are no teams. Unlimited respawns keep the action moving, and the Operator with the highest point total wins.

Prove you can win with the entire wall.
Operators earn an elimination with each required tagger configuration. After each elimination they return to HQ for the next weapon. Two eliminations suffered on the same tagger can demote the player.

Protect your life. Outlast the battlefield.
Free-for-all combat with no respawns. Once eliminated, an Operator waits for the next round. The final player still active is the winner.

Survive escalating waves of AREA 54 aliens.
Players battle waves of alien forces represented by staff. Each wave becomes harder, culminating in an all-out final assault from multiple angles.

Every elimination changes the battlefield.
When an Operator is eliminated, they respawn on the team that eliminated them. The round ends when every active Operator has been converted to one team.

Protect your King or Queen while hunting theirs.
Each team designates an asset with one life and enhanced armor/health. Supporting Operators act as pawns with unlimited respawns. Destroy the opposing asset first.

One enters. One falls. The next teammate deploys.
One or two Operators per team enter at a time. When an Operator is eliminated, the next teammate enters. Eliminate the opposing lineup to win.

The classic. Just considerably less ordinary here.
Teams battle for the highest result. Rules can change ammunition, health, friendly fire and respawn behavior to make the same matchup play completely differently.

Capture, control, destroy or survive around live digital objectives that react to team colors and mission rules.

Take theirs. Protect yours. Get home.
Two teams fight while trying to capture the opposing digital flag and return it to their home base. The flag carrier cannot tag opponents until the objective is delivered or the carrier is eliminated.

Control the flags. Control the arena.
Teams compete for control of digital flag points while still fighting each other. Scoring combines battlefield performance with time spent controlling the objectives.

Destroy their flag while protecting yours.
Each team protects its own digital base while locating and destroying the opponent's. Bases regenerate, allowing repeated attacks before time expires.

Own the flag or run out of ammunition.
Operators begin with limited ammunition. A team must control the digital flag to receive more ammo, turning the objective into the most valuable location on the battlefield.

The arena is draining your health.
A simulated virus gradually reduces player health. Controlling the digital flag releases health boosts to the controlling team. Lose the flag and the healing stops.

Destroy it. Let it regenerate. Hit it again.
Similar to Domination, except Operators must fully destroy the opposing digital objective. Successful destructions score, the objective regenerates, and the fight starts again.

Codes, USB keys, timed devices and attack/defend rules turn the battlefield into a live tactical operation.

Plant the device or stop the assault.
The assault team deciphers an activation code and plants the bomb near the defense base. Defenders win by eliminating the assault force or defusing the device.

Find your case and USB before the enemy finds theirs.
Each team hides the opponent's case before play. Operators search for their own team-color case, then deliver the case and matching USB to the opposing base and activate it.

Hide their case. Recover yours. Activate first.
Teams hide the opposing case, then battle to recover their own case and activate it at the enemy base. First successful activation wins.

The correct passcode is hidden somewhere in the arena.
Operators locate a perimeter device and search blacklight-revealed messages for the correct passcode. Some codes may be decoys. First team to deactivate its case wins.
